Club Competitions 2025
1. These rules apply to ALL club competitions.
2. The first named player will be the challenger and will be responsible for making all arrangements including a marker for the game to be played.
3. All games will be played on the South Green unless under exceptional circumstances and colour and direction of green will follow as listed in the diary.
4. The winner/s will immediately enter there name and score into the next round.
5. In the event of the challenger(s) failing to contact the opponent and arrange the match within 3 days of the play-by-date, the challenger will concede the game. Under exceptional circumstanced and through agreement with the Competition Secretary extensions may be agreed.
6. Only one substitute will be allowed in the pairs due to ill health and the substitute must not have played in any previous rounds.
7. Play your round as soon as possible. You will normally be given at least a month to play. Try not to leave until the last week of the play-by-date.
8. Any problems or disputes should be notified to the Competition Secretary.
Decisions taken by the Competition Secretary will be final.
The dress code for all competitions up to and including the semi-finals will be club shirts and grey trousers and the correct shoes.
In the Finals club shirts , white trousers and correct shoes will be worn.
Improperly dressed players will be eliminated in all rounds, this will include the finals
