Club Competition Rules
COMPETITION RULES
1) These rules apply to the Singles, Handicap and 2 Woods club competitions.
2) The first named player will be the challenger and will be responsible for making all arrangements including a marker for the game to be played.
3) The winner will immediately enter his name and score into the next round.
4) In the event of the challenger failing to contact their opponent and arrange the match within 3 days of the play-by-date the the challenger will concede the game. Under exceptional circumstances and through agreement with the Competition Secretary extensions may be agreed.
5) Play your round as soon as possible. You will normally be given at least a month to play. Try not to leave until the last week of the play-by-date.
6) Any problems or disputes should be notified to the Competition Secretary.
Decisions taken by the Competition Secretary will be final.
The Dress code for all competitions up to and including the Semi-Finals will be club shirts, grey trousers and correct shoes.
In the Finals club shirts, white trousers and correct shoes will be worn.
Improperly dressed players will be eliminated in all rounds this includes the finals
